  icon-1024.png App icon, 1024x1024. Already a dark full-bleed
square — use this on light pages.
icon-1024-on-light.png The same icon inset on the brand's parchment
ground, for dark page layouts where the icon
would otherwise merge into the background.

METADATA
Every image here has been stripped of EXIF, GPS, ICC and text chunks.
Before adding anything new to this folder, run:

    python3 scripts/strip-metadata.py --check marketing/press-assets/*.png
    python3 scripts/strip-metadata.py marketing/press-assets/NEW-FILE.png

Video needs ffmpeg, which this machine lacks:
    ffmpeg -i in.mp4 -map_metadata -1 -c copy out.mp4

The ban figures quoted in coverage should come from bannedindex.org/live,
which carries current totals and a copy-paste citation line with an access
date. Numbers move; the live page is always right.
